Illustrating the Generative AI book: Parrots or Pigeons
Just sharing another of the illustrations for the new Generative AI book, as i’m trying to make some progress with that work this week.
This is the stochastic parrot (or possibly pigeon…)… it’s a term used to describe a system that generates convincing text, but without actually having ‘understanding’.
